It’s actually a very simple technique and I will walk you through it in the video below. The brim is made with Bernat Softee Chunky which is a bulky yarn and makes a perfectly puffy brim. I used Bernat Super Value but Red Heart Super Saver would be a good choice too. The main part of the hat is made with worsted weight yarn. This year I finally wrote down a quick and easy Santa hat pattern! You could make it in a variety of colors or just stick with classic red. Every year I always find myself (and my kids/family/friends) needing and requesting a Santa hat for all the November and December festivities.
